An assistive Raised Toilet Seat is a relatively inexpensive disability aid that reduces joint pain and the risk of bathroom falls and other injuries.  They are excellent for people who have difficulty transferring on and off the commode due to physical disabilities like arthritis, surgery, or other injuries.  The toilet seat typically provides an extra two to four inches of height which makes it much easier to bend down and stand up.
